Beginning Teacher Conferences 2010


Beginning Teachers Conferences

These two day conferences on Saturdays and Sundays are open to all new (beginning) teachers employed as full time teachers by the Department of Education & Training in the schools sector and if spaces are available to full time temporary teachers.

The Bundanoon conferences are for teachers in the Sydney Metropolitan, Southern Highlands, Illawarra, South Coast and Monaro areas.

The Lightning Ridge Conference is open to teachers within reasonable travelling distance to Lightning Ridge.

The Hunter Conference is open to teachers within reasonable travelling distance to Rutherford.

The Corowa Conference is open to teachers within reasonable travelling distance to Corowa.

Federation provides accommodation for these conferences as appropriate, meals and travel assistance as for Trade Union Training

The conferences start at 10am on Saturday Morning and Finish at Lunchtime Sunday to allow local participants travel time to and from the conference. Those teachers needing to travel more than 2 hours to the conference should seek advice on whether an additional nights accommodation may be provided.
